Write Right Now

I wanted to write a novel, but wrote this instead.

About

Hi. So you like to know a little bit about the person whose random thoughts you’re reading?

Well, I’m a family man who’s been thinking for 30 years that there’s a novel in me and I’ve started once or twice only to stop suddenly.

So what’s different now?

Well, I can do this on the internet and I love messing about with my laptop and html and Dreamweaver and Photoshop and php and all that other stuff that’s so clever. I just wish I knew how to use it all, but I’m learning and that’s the whole point of this for me.
It lets me learn in a practical way.

So I hope you stick around for a while and hopefully get some enjoyment out of snooping round someone else’s mind! I may talk gibberish, I may talk sense, I may irritate you, I may entertain you. What I will do, for sure, is talk.

I am setting up an amateur writing community for people of all ages. This would involve writers contributing material to the website, with live links back to either their email address, or if they have a website of their own to that website with the purpose of publicising both your and my own site. I am doing this so that you will have advertising on another site and I get a story of any size, it really does not matter what size of story I receive nor how many of your members would like to contribute, I feel it is the contribution and brining together many different writers groups that is the point of my site

I have written so many groups over the last couple of days and have received many positive emails back, I have even began posting one groups stories, and if you take a look you will see that I have given what I said, a live link back to the originators website/email address. I am not looking for credit and WILL NOT take any stories and post them as my own!! all I am trying to do is to get together people of a like mind who may or may not have been published and building up the website to a point where it can become self sustaining (with many more people contributing material from outside of writing groups.

I have read your parodys and laughed out loud at ‘day three agreed to take the ring to Mordor, in hindsight, propbably not a great idea’

I am also interested in publicising any writing competitions that know of so that any person contributing to the site may have a chance to enter these competitions.

    Many thanks in advance.
