It's nearly infectuous, her happiness and zeal. You created a very well develped character here that I feel as though I know. The setting also made me think of my travelling through Europe. Two weeks initially alone, but friends were never far away. Thanks for a good read.

Wait a minute, i'm still young! XD
Well, I hope to read more of your writting later...

Thanks for dropping by and leaving kind comments, Susan.

I was emotionally attached to this, I must admit. I feel Sam's whole idea is such a loving thing that to take part would have to mean personal emotional involvement. Couldn't do it without, or it would be disrespectful.

Being a good northern English guy I can't imagine anywhere in the world better to be than London when there's a royal wedding! We sat and watched the wedding on tv at home and had a champagne breakfast. It seemed so fairytale to us in those innocent days and Princess Diana was every man's princess.

So there was a little of my hopes back at that time in the story since I never made it to London for that historic occasion, but, yes, Milan would have been very nice and very stylish for a young American girl!

Who knows, she may still get there yet in one of the stories.

Amin,
this is a warm, enriching read and packed with emotional impact, probably because your heart was so rightly drawn into it.
You write the story very well.
My favourite was the first half.
And I also thought that the mention of Iowa only added on to the familiarity and intimacy of Sam's blog. That proved a nice subtle touch. I believe your story of The Woman Who May Have Lived as I term it, may bring tears to many.
Though I can't help thinking with a little lightness that perhaps, Jacquie should have headed off to Milan, Italy instead to suffice her passion for haute couture.

Well-done!

Amin, you did a wonderful job! I wish I'd known her; now I'll have to write something for her. That will be a hard act to live up to, though.

Amin,

You are such a champion of good writing. This was marvelous and a wonderful contribution to the cause.

You did, you made it sound like an American girl's journal! How you did this? You are a wonderful writer.

Thanks, Jasmin.

I think what Sam is doing is such a lovely way to honour his sister that I had to write something. He tells me he think it sounds like it's written by an American girl, which I'm pleased about because I wanted to make it sound natural.
