I saw this link to a writing contest at Marie’s blog.
It certainly sounds worth a go, although the idea of up to 10,000 words is daunting. Mind you, I’ve just done a 1,000 word story and had to cut it short because it was longer than I wanted. I had a ton of ideas of where to take it and what I wanted to achieve with it, so maybe several thousand words aren’t such a big deal if you just write them one sentence at a time.
