I found this on my travels

I’ve been doing a bit of surfing today and I found this blog on my travels.

I assume Spanish or Portugese is Cai’s first language, which makes this entry even more astonishing. I found it impossible to stop reading it even though it made me very uneasy.

There are quite a few posts in English so for anyone, like me, who doesn’t speak Spanish or Portugese, there’s still plenty there to get stuck into.

Hey!.. thanks for the post and the comments :D
Yes, the things in my blog were written by me, and yes, English is my second language (Spanish is my first).
Thanks once again for passing by, now it shall be my turn to check out your blog :P
    Good luck!

    How disturbing. Quite violent.
    A must read.

  3. What a witty way to say that you were on your blog travels.

Roberta, isn’t it though? I found it compelled me to read it.

Susan, I seem to spend much more time travelling the ‘net than I ever do in real life, so it seemed a natural turn of phrase.

Cai, lovely to see you here.

I am impressed with your writing, but even more so that English is your second language. It’s impossible to tell.

I shall keep looking for your English pieces. Sadly, I do not speak or read Spanish, although maybe one day!

Cai has written some powerful poetry on his site – and the fact that it is in his second language is certainly impressive! Thanks for the link, Amin.

  7. Brandon says:

You were right. That had enough tension to leave me uncomfortable at the end, which I think is what it should have done.

Hi Amin, I stumbled across your blog by way of Cathy’s story roundup. Thanks for pointing me to Cai’s poetry — it’s gorgeous, though gloomy; I especially liked “Y yo sigo aca…”
