It’s looking brighter out there.

Daylight seems so bright.
I wonder how long I’ve been asleep? The winter hibernation seemed such a long time – I almost thought I’d never wake up. Still, awake now.

Did my backup work? I’ll have to try to load it and then see. You can never tell with these things, can you?

Yes, the backup did seem to work, although some of the modifications have disappeared, along with my pictures.

It’s late and I should be getting some sleep, but I want to finish putting this site back together before I go to sleep. The bulk of the entries seem to have survived so that’s something to be grateful for. The theme I used to have seems to have disappeared as well. Anyway, the one I’m using now should be fine. I can tweak it in the next few weeks.

So I have a small writing task on over the next few days which I absolutely want to finish and get out of the way before I get sucked into spending most of my life on this blog. It’s a personal project, but one which fills me with desire to see it finished since it’s a bit technical and dry.

Guess that’s enough for tonight. I’ll allow myself another 15 minutes tinkering underneath the bonnet and then call it a day. Which it almost is no!
