Apologies to those waiting for their part of my short story challenge.
I’ve had a challenging couple of days myself and everything should be back on track tonight.
My fingers have given me some trouble, but I’ve found if I strap them tightly enough it’s not too bad so I can do some work.
I’ll be catching up on my day work for the rest of today and tonight should bring everything up to date. I have a couple of stories to catch up on!
Amin, take care of yourself and your fingers. No apologies are necessary.
No one’s going to blame you because you took an extra day or two. Just be sure you don’t strap your fingers so tightly you cut off the circulation to them.
I’m sure the rest of your readers would agree with me; the important thing is to let those fingers heal so you’ll be able to type more stories, and your novel, and hopefully more novels after that one…
I wish there were something I could do to help you. I’ve hurt my own fingers a few times, although never that badly, so I have some idea what you’re going through.
Good luck, Amin. Like the Wandering Author said, take your time, let the fingers heal, and we readers will wait.
Hi Amin,
Hope your fingers get better real soon. We’re all missing you. (Guys, I hope I’m not being presumptuous by saying that?)
But your health is foremost. Rest, let them heal and then you can come back with a fresh perspective on things.
You are not being presumptious Saaleha – haven’t ‘known’ you long Amin but missing you too – heal soon
Hi Amin,
My heart really went out to you, reading your comment on my blog. I have worried a great deal about your fingers but really didn’t know what to say or even if you wanted me around to say anything. I am often cautious like that.
I’m sure the bright sunshine will soon spill its rays on your destiny and things will look up again.
Take care and look after yourself and once everything and everyone is ready, I still look forward to my role in the Short Story challenge and to reading more of your thought-provoking and intelligent posts.
smiles
Thank you everyone. Your kind words mean a lot. I love this community of people who are so supportive. It’s a wonderful example of what human nature can be, when it’s right.
