How much spam do you get on your blog?
I ask that because I seem to be getting a lot of traffic from idiots who want to put links to various nefarious websites. I’m sick of seeing them, but I suppose it’s just a part of life you have to put up with. At least the anti-spam service I use on this blog is pretty sharp so it makes it fairly quick to deal with.
Website traffic’s an interesting thing. I’m currently engaged in various projects for my businessess to drive more traffic to them. Seems to be working, but since I’m using slightly different techniques on each of the areas my brain’s hurting a little as to exactly what causes the increase in traffic.
I’ve recently started to market digital products based in the self-help and internet marketing arena. I would say there are some good products out there, but some are just pretty poor. And it’s a good market to be in because you genuinely get to help people while making some money. Never a bad thing. I shied away from the whole digital delivery thing for the longest time and concentrated on my bricks and mortar operation with a website to support it, but now I’ve got fingers in a couple of other pies and it’s very interesting. Since I have to keep up with trends in personal development and marketing (not totally unrelated fields!) I find I’m learning more because I have to learn more.
Just as an experiment I’m including some links here to the products I sell.
I don’t actually know how that will look until I try it.
Busy day coming up today and I haven’t posted a story in the longest time. Must see if I can snatch 45 minutes this afternoon to do something.
