Yes, it’s true, time does heal a great many things, although I must say my finger doesn’t seem like it will ever be quite the same again. Fortunately I can type okay so at least that’s a blessing.
I have a new phone, the Nokia N73, and I must say I’m very impressed with the camera and onboard software. I’ve tried a couple of sample posts (now deleted) to this blog from the phone and it is, literally, the job of just pushing a button. Very swish and very, very friendly. I hate to think what the data charges are though!
Spoke to my sister in the US today and she’s not sure whether she’ll be coming over this year. She was here for Christmas so that was nice, but there’s a family 40th birthday coming up and she was hoping to get over for that, but it’s looking a tad doubtful. We’ll have to wait and see.
Spring isn’t far away and with it the feelings of renewal and optimism we all experience. It’s by far my favourite time of year and I could happily live in a world where Spring lasted the whole year. Maybe when I retire I’ll emigrate somewhere like that. My in-laws are thinking of emigrating when they retire in a few years – they like the sun. If they do at least we’ll have somewhere to visit. We’re okay for the US with relatives there and Spain with friends there, but we need someone to move to Australia so we can visit them!
Guess I should get back to my project so I can finish it, but it’s easy to get lost in time when you’re blogging like this.
I seem to have lost my archives so I’ll have to do a bit of digging to find out how to get them back. I’m sure it’s possible, even if I don’t yet know how.
