What price your life?

I just read this post on the BBC website.

They have the gall to call this organisation NICE! I mean really, one year of your life is not worth more than £30,000. I know there’s a limit to what money can be spent since there really isn’t a bottomless pit. But good grief, if we cost too much we’re going to be allowed to die.

And that is not a knee-jerk reaction, it’s what’s going to happen more and more. Not so bad if you come in under budget, but tough if you’re an expensive date.

In this day and age it seems everything has it’s price. And I always thought that life was meant to be priceless! Very sad, very sad indeed!

  2. I’m reading your first rant, Amin.

    Hi Susan.

I’m afraid I’m turning into a grumpy old man! The transition for vital, energetic young man with ideals into jaded, grumpy old curmudgeon has been seamless and inevitable!

  4. I never meant anything like that at all, Amin. In fact, I’d really like to see you write your novel. We all have our rants…me possibly more than others!

Hi Susan – no offence taken. LOL.

I think you were quite right anyway, I like to get things off my chest sometimes and have a rant. Makes me feel better!

I’m working my way through your list on your blog. There’s some good stuff in there. You’ve obviously spent some considerable time and it shows.

    Keep up the good work!
