So I wanted to do some writing. Well, eBay has a half price listing day and several of my relatives have asked me to put some of their stuff up on auction. I guess I talked myself into that job. I’ve taken the photos today and I’m about to sit down to creating the listings – should take me no more than a couple of hours, I suppose. At least I’ll get the benefit of the extra feedback once the auctions are completed.
My son’s just had some friends round. It always starts off great, but then he goes into hyper mode and acts giddy and reckless and his friends always follow suit. I don’t want to come down on him like a ton of bricks at that sensitive age of ‘almost 12′, but he never seems to learn from friendly warnings. He does like to cross the line to see if it’s really there. He just doesn’t seem to remember from one episode to the next that my lines ARE written in stone!
I guess I was a young boy once, too. But then again I was “practically perfect in every way”.
And no prize to the first person who can tell me where that line came from!
NOTE: I was not practically perfect at all, but I think you probably knew that already. Didn’t you?
